Teak Bedroom Furniture
One of the great things about teak is that is it a very high quality wood that can work equally as well outdoors or indoors. For indoor furniture, teak bedroom furniture is a real standout in a will designed room.
On the top of the list for many folks are teak beds. There are many styles to choose from but some of the best are beds that blend materials such as teal and wrought iron. These beds became very popular a few years ago when Timberlake beds hit the market and are often very solid and of a masculine flavor. You can even find antique team beds that are in good condition and have very elegant designs. Another option on the bed front is to get just a teak headboard. For some beds and bedrooms this might be a perfect option.
You can find bedroom sets that incorporate multiple pieces together. Typical pieces that can be found in sets include the bed, dressers or chest of drawers and night stands. Other stand alone units can be found to match just about any style. One of my favorites is a large armoire. From ornate to a simpler shaker style they look great sitting in the corner or side of the room. Be careful that you don’t buy more than you can handle. If the furniture pieces are too large for your bedroom they just won’t look right.
Other teak bedroom furniture pieces include mirrors, nightstands, coat racks, wardrobes, vanities, trunks and even planters. There are also many teak decorative items available like picture frames, carvings, small statues, wall art and many more.
